Litchfield Jazz Camp
, now in its twelfth summer, invites students, ages 13 to adult, to learn from a world renowned faculty of touring and recording jazz artists lead by Music Director, Don Braden.  Faculty includes Mark Whitfield, Jeremy Pelt, Mario Pavone, Karrin Allyson, Jimmy Greene, Rachel Z and many others.  Classes are offered in performance, improvisation, jazz history, rhythm and percussion, music theory, the business of music, composition and recording engineering.  All students perform at the Litchfield Jazz Festival on a stage dedicated to our campers.  Guest Artists for 2008 are David Liebman and Joe Diorio.

Special Opportunities:

First Annual College Fair Night:
Wednesday Evening, July 23, 7-9 PM.  Meet representatives from Berklee College of Music, Manhattan School of Music, New England Conservatory, New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, SUNY Purchase College and William Paterson University.  Open to all students preparing for college.  No entrance fee.
